  • Amireh Al-Haddad

    Amireh Al-Haddad is the Director of Public Affairs and Religious Liberty and Adventist Community Service and Disaster Response for the Southern Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventist. She holds a BA in History from Atlantic Union College.

    She came to the Southern Union in 1992 and worked as the associate director for many years. Amireh was elected the Religious Liberty Department Director in September 2006. A few of the jobs she is responsible for in her present capacity includes: assisting church members with Sabbath accommodation problems and helping to address legislative issues throughout the union. She also oversees managing the Southern Union Liberty Magazine subscriptions and the Religious Liberty Offering. From 1998-2007 she served as the Chair for the North American Division Taskforce for the Religious Liberty Campaign. In 2012 Adventist Community Services and Disaster Response was added to her portfolio.
