Questions in this episode God first said that he will destroy his children but later said that he will deliver for a good purpose. What does that mean? Can you give an example of a good purpose for which deliverance is warranted? Who is the mother of seven referenced in this verse? Exile sounds like punishment. Why did God send his children in exile? Are there times when our tribulations or what may seem like punishments are in fact blessings in disguise? Why was Jeremiah upset with God, according to Jeremiah 20:7-10. Is it a sin to be upset with God? How long will God hold back before he rejects those who continuously backslide.
