Mark Brown

Pastor Brown was born in Manchester, England to Mavis and the late Ezekiel Brown; the last of three children. At the age of six his family migrated to Jamaica, West Indies; there he received his formal education. He attended West Indies College, now Northern Caribbean University, and Oakwood College, now Oakwood University, respectively, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology. Pastor Brown also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University and a PhD in Clinical Christian Psychology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.

Pastor Brown worked as a Chaplain for the Florida Department of Corrections for ten years; eight of those years as a Senior Chaplain. He has seen many souls give their hearts to God after hearing the message while incarcerated.

In 1998 he was called to Church Ministry and has since pastored the Macedonia - Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie SDA Church districts, the First Ephesus and Mt. Pisgah Churches in South Florida, and the Breath of Life and Ephesus SDA Churches in Jacksonville, Florida. In May of 2016, Pastor Brown was voted as the Family, Health and Religious Liberty Ministries Director for the Southeastern Conference of SDA in Mount Dora, Florida.

He is married to the former Sandra Daley who has a Master’s degree in Education; specializing in Adult Education, Curriculum and Instruction. They have two grown sons - Johann (Yohann), married to the former Krista Hanson, and Marc. They also have two grandsons. Pastor Brown’s prayer is that God will continue to guide him as he spreads God’s message to dying men and women. His favorite text comes from Isaiah 40:31. “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint.”
