Joe's Deeper Dive Questions to Pastor Jen:

Why the title "The Cost of the Call?" Why did you interrupt the Women of Destiny series for this sermon? Walk us through how ancient potters formed clay and how it parallels how God works in our life? How does the potter relate to Jeremiah? Why was making clay so hard and why is the process of forming us so involved? What challenges have you faced as the first female Pastor in South Florida in the Florida conference? How did you feel when the congregation helped you with the engine? How does the "Best is Yet to Come Sermon" tie in with the "Cost of the Call" sermon? How did you remain composed and calm when the car dealer was so rude to you? How did you handle Armando's diabetic attack? How do Pastor's deal with very diverse congregations with diverse problems and needs? How do you know if God is still molding you into your image?

  • Jennifer Hernandez

Jennifer Hernandez was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. Her love for sharing Jesus began when she dedicated her voice to Him, as a child by singing throughout the islands; preaching began during high school. Motivated to answer God’s call on her life, Jen moved her family to England, where she obtained her BS in Behavioral Sciences at Newbold College. Together with her husband, Armando, and their five boys, God has taken them on a journey of faith, with opportunities to share His love throughout Europe and the United States. She enjoys being actively involved in children’s ministries, women’s ministries, and worship ministries. Jennifer recently graduated with her Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University Theological Seminary and is excited to now be serving as an Associate Pastor at Plantation Seventh-day Adventist Church.
